Who are we looking for?
We are searching for a Content Director to operationalize effective processes around content development and programming, to collaborate with the Director of SEO on content standards for search engines, and strategically think through transparent content collaborations with revenue partners. This person will have 3 direct reports (Sr. Content Manager, Copy Editor, and Content Production Manager), as well as manage teams of contractors. This person understands that content development at MyHealthTeams has a purpose to bridge the knowledge gap for those living with a chronic condition, and the importance of broadening audience reach and conversion to membership. The content director will be a close partner of the head of the product, as well.
We’re growing (over 30 brands under MyHealthTeams), so there are plenty of other cool things to tackle. This is a true growth opportunity for the right individual looking to build on their content management and execution experience. We have thousands of articles that can be optimized, and thousands more to be written.

What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required (ideally: English or Journalism)
- 10+ years of related experience
- Natural affinity for mentorship
- Appreciation for the role of SEO in the life of an article
- Journalistic integrity
- Management experience of writers and content team
- Very thorough/rigorous approach to content standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong working relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
